1. Thinking a lot about the difference between not now and never. I easily fall into a panic over things being stuck forever. And this never happens. Nothing, nothing is stagnant. Ever. There is more that is not right now than never. Important to remember. And important to think about my inability to see the potential for movement in these moments.

2. I found this sweet little bee outside our front door. Oddly enough, I find many of the insects I photograph near and around our front door. He's covered in leaf debris and spider webs. My daughter noticed that the bee has its "tongue" out and must have been gathering pollen shortly before it died. Sweet, sweet bee.

3. No one casts themselves as the villain of their own story. And herein lies the rub.
