1. Good leadership requires empathy. My daughter's school asked students from 1st - 12th grades what qualities make for a good leader. An overwhelming number of students answered, empathy. This was followed by other traits, but nearly all the students interviewed listed empathy first. Agreed, agreed. Sigh.
2. "You're not complaining, you're observing." - Better Call Saul, AMC.
3. Two steps forward. One step back. If you're lucky. Sometimes it's two steps forward, then fall on your ass down the mountainside and start all over again. Tired. Dirty. And probably covered in animal poo.
