1. Had to dust off the mantra today. Sending love out to everyone who is picking themselves up and dusting themselves off for the hundredth time today. I feel ya.

Today I promise to be my best self. To be an outstanding mother, a passionate artist, a good friend, and an open hearted woman. I will get on the mat, create with great abandon in the studio, and remember wherever there is a lock, there is always a key. I am sending love to those who need it, and those who don't think they do. I'm going to start here. Small but mighty.

2. In an instant, love reminds us that all else is meaningless.

3. Yesterday it was me. There's a saying out here among parents, that I think is worth repeating. During the real shit hits the fan moments - most of ours have been at Target for some strange reason, but there has always been a parent who has come by and said in one way or another, "It's all going to be okay. Yesterday it was me, today it's you, and tomorrow it will be someone else's turn." Not only has this made me feel better in the moment, but it is a nice reminder that in some way, shape, or form, we all take turns, and we can find empathy and compassion in that.
