1. Astronauts have discovered what appears to be at least 7 new planets orbiting the same star roughly 40 light years away from our solar system. Trappist-1, the star that the planets orbit around, is a dwarf star. Trappist-1F and Trappist -1G appear to be in what is known as a habitable zone, meaning they exist at just the right distance from their star to support life. Trappist-1F is the most likely to support life and my even contain an ocean. This is one of those times where I am in awe of just how small and insignificant we are on this one little planet orbiting around this one little sun. We are part of something that is so massive, it's known as being infinite. Holy crap.

2. One of those days. My grandma Zelma used to raise both her middle fingers in the air and swing her arms around to the tune of "When the Saint's Go Marching In." There were other songs too. Giving people the bird was kind of her thing.

3. Monkey see, monkey do, as they say on the playground. Same goes for Congress.
