1. Work is good. Creative work is great. It forces you to pick yourself up and dust yourself off way sooner than you feel like. Happy to be working this weekend and spending a couple days surrounded by artists and passionate souls. It does the body good.
2. Hazy Shade of Winter by Simon and Garfunkel is some deep shit. For real. If you haven't heard it in a while give it a listen. It was released in 1966, which makes a lot of sense historically. I heard it today and my mind melted a little.
3. I've said this before, but it is worth repeating. I know an incredible group of fearless, creative, passionate, women. They are mothers and makers, and movers and shakers, lovers and fighters, and fierce in every way imaginable. This part of my life could not be more abundant. I'm so looking forward to seeing some of them this weekend and hugging it out. I'll probably cry and that's a good thing.
