1. Becoming quite interested in the idea of what remains. The brown, golden, and grey of what is dried up and final. West Marin in summer is filled with golds, deep browns, and reds as one process of nature comes to an end and another begins. I'm beginning to pay attention to the beauty in this action.

2. And even still, few things beat a good pool party.

3. Wanting to rush the process. This goes against everything I know to be true. But that voice exists and wants to skip ahead to the next chapter.
