1. I don't watch enough music videos. A friend sent me a clip of Bono and The Edge playing Stuck in a Moment on Letterman from a few years back. For one, I LOVE U2. Second, I especially love watching musicians I admire perform. The emotion and absolute joy on Bono's face, in his whole body, as he sang was entirely delicious. More of that please.
2. Watch more. With similar intent to number one above, the film It Might Get Loud is a must see. Jimmy Page, Jack White, and The Edge talk music for a few hours. That's all I really need to say. Also, I thought I knew quite a bit about Jimmy Page, but there was so much more to learn. He was an intensely prolific musician in his years before Led Zeppelin.
3. Jimmy Page's go to guitar during the Led Zeppelin years was a Gibson Les Paul Standard. He named the guitar "Number One."The neck of the guitar was shaved down incredibly thin, along with numerous other custom additions and fixes throughout the yeas. Bad Ass.
