1. Sometimes a moth flies by outside your studio window and casts a shadow that makes it look like a moth is flying right down your shirt. So you jump up and shake your shirt out for 10 minutes looking for the moth. Really, ten minutes. It's true. Sigh.
2. I've been watching my daughter for the past two months transition from a little babe to a full grown girl. It seems like it happened overnight. There have been recent moments when I wish I could go back in time and hold her as a baby for just a few minutes. It's strange to so badly miss someone who once was, while being so in love with who they are becoming.
3. The leaves on my neighbor's maple trees are beginning to change. I have a front row seat from my studio window of a tiny piece of east coast autumn. Life is good.
