1. Often times it is in absence that we discover gratitude.

2. Deer have eyes that rotate in different directions at the same time. This is known as cyclovergence. Humans are able to do the same, but only a few degrees. Deer can rotate one eye 50 degrees while rotating the other eye - 50 degrees, creating a difference of 100 degrees, which is quite remarkable. Neat! You can read more here.
