There’s a magical place nestled along the shores of the EAST BAY known as THE ALAMEDA FLEA MARKET. It’s beyond what one would imagine and is an event that meets the standards of all the other truly great experiences to have and love in the BAY AREA. In short, the FLEA is an icon. We haven’t been in a year or so, maybe more with the current shelter in place, and the last time we went, I picked up this beauty of a tape measure. I instantly loved everything about it. The hard worn leather, the font and type, and the feel of the metal crank in my hand reeling the tape back into place. It’s sits on my desk and I use it daily for all sorts of tasks. As a basic studio tool, I cannot overestimate the importance of investing in a fabric tape measure. It’s an important addition to your toolbox.
