Of course I’m a big collector of things in threes. I just can’t seem to help myself. The rings above are my wedding set, each stone representing the generations of women in my family. The three stone ring is a combination of diamonds from my mom and grandmother. The aquamarine ring belonged to Zelma, my dad’s mom. It belonged to her mother Vonna and while I never got to meet Vonna, I can remember Zelma wearing her ring when I was quite little. The small diamond represents my daughter and was a gift from the dude for our 10th wedding anniversary, which was nearly 10 years ago. Whoa. Amazing how time flies. My favorite thing about jewelry is the memories it can hold. I love having pieces that belonged to family and friends, especially when I can remember them wearing it.
