Rethinking Self-Doubt in the Creative Process
Marek Studzinski
I’m sorry you’ve been told that self-doubt is a problem. That if you feel like a fraud, it means you are one. That you’re not ready. Not legitimate. Not there yet.
You’ve probably heard it framed like this:
“You just have imposter syndrome.” so you try to fix it.
“Don’t listen to that voice.” so you start to disconnect.
But here’s the truth: that voice, that friction, isn’t pathology. It’s plasticity. It’s the living edge of your growth. It’s you stretching into something new.
When self-doubt shows up, it doesn’t mean you’re broken or unworthy. It means you’re evolving. What you need isn’t dismissal or diagnosis. What you need is structure, support, and integration.
That’s exactly what we focus on inside my 1:1 Mentorship. Together, we stop treating self-doubt like a barrier and instead build the capacity to meet it with clarity, stability, and trust.
